Discovering Daytona's Scenic Secrets in Fall
October is the perfect time to travel to Daytona Beach. With temperatures ranging between daytime 82˚F and 66˚F at night, you get to soak up the mellow sun. Whether you choose to ride to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse; spend the day watching the cavalcade of customized motorcycles on the Main Street; or go exploring the mystic abandoned village Eldora, you couldn't have chosen a better time to be outdoors.
Head out for a full day ride to the Ocala National Forest with its unpaved forest roads. It is best to leave early with a packed lunch because you are sure to be tempted to stay a little longer than planned. A cooling dip in the forest springs is the perfectly peaceful way to connect with nature in its most pristine beauty.
If you would rather not to wander too far from the action on High Street, then a half-day ride on the Ormond Scenic Loop is something you cannot miss. This is by far the most picturesque stretch of natural beauty in Volusia County.

2020 celebrates the 28th Annual Biketoberfest and the Main Street is where all the action is! There are a number of parking lots for you to park and play. Restaurants and bars are operating at 50% indoor seating capacity and 100% outdoor seating. Social distancing measures must be followed. The City has disallowed street vendors this year, but there is still a lot happening at the Main Street. You might catch a glimpse of famous biking personalities enjoying the sights and sounds.
